Our Story

Dear Pink Papaya Friends, Welcome! As sisters, friends, and now co-founders of Pink Papaya we are so pleased to share our dream with you. We began this journey as children when we would brainstorm into the night about different businesses we could one day start together.

In 2004, Karen was ready to make our vision a reality. She was over-worked, stressed, and surrounded by other women just like herself. Her goal was to bring to market quality products that offered an immediate “ahhhh” to a woman’s day. It took us a few years, and together in 2006, we launched Pink Papaya with over 80 quality beauty products and began signing on Independent Consultants. Soon after, over 60 consultants were sharing our products, sharing our opportunity, and sharing our dream! Since then, we have grown to over 1000 Consultants and tripled our product line.

From the beginning our dream included giving back. Today we contribute to three Pink Papaya Philanthropy Programs: a Mother’s Day program for women in need at homeless and abuse shelters, a program recognizing and rewarding women raised in the foster care system who have chosen to pursue a higher education, and our newest mission to support a network of girl’s villages in Zimbabwe. Thanks to all of you – our valued customers – and your Pink Papaya Consultant we are now a nation-wide organization of women supporting women. Our childhood dream has become a reality.
